South Park Is Always

Breaking News: John Travolta is gay!
Earlier this year South Park aired an episode entitled
Trapped In The Closet where they ripped on
Scientology and accused Tom Cruise and John Travolta of
being...well trapped in the closet. Despite having a
banging hot wife (Kelly
Preston) this photo shows John Travolta giving
his "friend" a fond farewell kiss.

Solving Iraq &
Immigration

How to solve the two biggest problems facing America
right now.
Bring all our troops home from Iraq to guard the border.
When they catch an illegal immigrant crossing the
border, hand him a canteen, rifle, and some ammo and
ship him to Iraq. Tell him if he wants to come to
America then he must serve a tour in the military. Give
him a soldier's pay while he's there and tax him on it.
After his tour, he will be allowed to become a citizen
since he defended this country. He will also be
registered to be taxed and be a legal patriot.
This option will probably deter illegal immigration and
provide a solution for the troops in Iraq and the aliens
trying to make a better life for themselves. If they
refuse to serve, ship them to Iraq anyway without the
canteen, rifle, or ammo.
Problem solved.

Proof That Americans
Hate Old People

Breaking News from Washington, DC.
Five million of our older Americans have not signed up
yet for their Medicare, Part D, drug plan...they are old
and confused. We are not going to grant them an
extension to enroll later on.
However, 12 million illegal aliens are in our country
and we are going to allow them to stay, protest,
procreate, receive support monies, attend schools, avoid
paying income taxes, have our teachers take 300 hours of
ESL (English as a Second Language) training at our
expense.
WE MUST REALLY DISLIKE OUR OLD PEOPLE! |

Happy
Birthday wishes going out to our east coast homey Stacy
Tingen today. Stacy and I grew up in the old
neighborhood together and spent many a summer getting
into all kinds of mischief and it's always good to
relive those days whenever we see Stacy. So here's to
hoping you have a great day and we'll see you soon!
(Sorry...this is the most
recent pic I have of you...from xmas 2005)
Happy
Birthday Stacy! |

Weekend Update

We had a pretty laid back weekend since we're planning
on having lots of fun next weekend. There's a big street
festival next weekend and we're planning on going out
for drinks and crab legs with Tuti & Casie too.
-
Friday night I
spent most of the night shooting The Black Pearl as
you can see below.
-
Saturday we
went to Ikea for some Swedish meatballs and to pick
up a few little items for the house.
-
Sunday was
spent working on "someone's" new blog site followed
by the always dreaded trip to the laundromat but it
wasn't that bad this week. I've been trying not to
wear clothes. Ha-ha!

The Hunt
For The Black Pearl

I managed to track down The Black Pearl again tonite and
got some great shots as she sat quietly moored in a
protected inlet. I made sure that I got there way before
the sunset this time and waited til the sun got in just
the right spot then started clicking away. I got a few
hundred like this. Enjoy!

I managed to get the inside scoop on the the whereabouts
of The Black Pearl and when they'd be shooting some
scenes for
Pirates of The Caribbean III this week so I
managed to get some decent shots earlier this evening. I
got there later than I would have liked so the lighting
wasn't that great but I may have another shot tomorrow
night or possibly Friday night.
Here are the shots I got of The Black Pearl out in the
Pacific. Enjoy!

[ The best shot I got before it
started getting too dark ]

[ Smoke from the battle scene
and cannon fire ]

[ Sailing away...I overexposed
to add more light but it turned out ok ]

The world's greatest domain name is finally up for sale
and if you're looking for a great Christmas gift for me
this would be it. Jimmy.com is finally up for sale and
I've been waiting on it for years. Unfortunately the
starting price is $28,000 which is a little more than I
had planned on spending but if every JimmyPowell.com fan
chips in we can do this! Ha-ha!

Transformers

I am soooo stoked about this. Next July 4th is the
release date of Transformers the movie which is destined
to be a blockbuster. Little bits and pieces are leaking
on the net and these are two that just surfaced this
weekend. Pictured are Bumble bee in robot form and
Optimus Prime in truck mode. Don't know why they decided
to give OP flames. I hate when they do stuff like that
but it won't keep me out of the theatre next July. I
think this is one that me and Mike D will have to see
together since he's a huge transformers fan.

Talladega Nights Ruled!

In
case you couldn't tell, we love going to the movies and
this weekend we saw Talladega Nights which was (in my
opinion) hysterical. If you're a Will Ferrell fan then
you'll Talladega Nights. I was cracking up the whole
time and the outtakes at the end are worth sticking
around for. Kim on the other hand wasn't impressed but
she's never been a Will Ferrell fan. No biggie. Next
week is her turn to pick the movie. :-) |
