We watched another episode of Hit Me Baby One More Time and Wang Chung got robbed big time. They did a great job on their classic hit "Everybody Have Fun Tonight" and then did an amazing cover of Nelly's "Gettin Hot In Here" which brought down the house but at the end of the show...Irene Cara won despite the fact that she didn't sound very good and her cover song was mostly sang by her other band members. I've never been one for conspiracy theories but the crowd was going off for Wang Chung and the online poll had Irene Cara receiving the least amount of votes but she won according to the "studio audience". She actually came in dead last according to the online poll so how she won is a little fishing...especially considering Entertainment Tonight just happened to be doing a story on her. Things that make you go hmmmmmm?!?

Kim experienced her first quake yesterday and it was the second one for me. The clarify a little bit, Kim went thru the first one but didn't feel it but yesterday's was a little bigger and longer and to show how pc addicted we are, within 5 seconds of the quake ending we were both instant messaging each other going "did you feel that?!?". The quake was a good ways away from us so we only got a little shake and not enough to tip anything over or shake anything off a shelf or anything...but enough to feel.

For all my hard line attitudes when it comes to politics and everything else, I'm a real softy when it comes to Mother Nature. I heard all the finches that reside around our place chirping like crazy earlier today and looked out the window to see this poor fellow struggling to stay afloat in our pool. I rushed out and scooped him out of the pool and put him in the sun to dry off. He was pretty dazed so I took a few shots of him before he regained his fear of humans. His mom flew down and helped him preen and along with me, watched over him while he got his strength back and tried out his wings some more. Pepe (yes I named him) eventually perked back up and then he was gone. Maybe we'll see him again one day.

Here's a Walgreens I'd like to visit. Let's see, they have Kingsford Charcoal, Extra Detergent, and oh yeah...a MILF for $2.49. It says so right on the sign;

I'm a self proclaimed Star Wars nut but I've never been too much into girls in Star Wars costumes...never asked Kim or any other girl to put on a  Princess Leia costume or anything dorky like that...but I gotta say this is pretty hot. It's a storm trooper outfit made just for the ladies with a bare midriff and sexy stripper boots! If all the emperor's henchmen looked like this, I don't think their ever would have been a rebellion. Ha! But seriously...where can I get one of these for Kim?

I knew I shouldn't have gotten my hopes up that justice would be done! Once again, serial pedophile Michael Jackson got away with sexually abusing young boys. Just like with O.J. and Robert Black, if you're a celebrity with enough money you can hire a hot shot lawyer and get away with just about anything. If an all white jury in a conservative town like Santa Barbara won't convict Michael Jackson, why should we even bother anymore? Seems like Jacko has free reign to do whatever he wants and he's always gonna get off...no pun intended.

And that's justice? What the fuck is wrong with this country?

We took it easy this weekend and didn't really do much of anything for a change. We spent most of Saturday running errands around town, picking up supplies and what not. Kim was sporting her best punk rock girl outfit and struck this pose just for me and Mike D. proving their are tongue girls as well as tongue boys. (Inside joke!) Saturday night we messed around the house and watched Meet The Fockers which was really funny and way better than the first one. We didn't leave the house at all on Sunday. We spent the whole day holding down the couch and watching movies.

We heard there was an earthquake Sunday morning but we apparently slept thru it. So we had a pretty low key weekend but sometimes its good to do nothing. I didn't even check my email until 6:00 Sunday night which in our little world amounts to losing your mind. Ha-ha!

And you thought only humans were into threesomes...granted, this isn't my idea of a "good" threesome. Too many guys at this party! :^P

It's not safe to leave your toys out in the yard anymore because Google Maps is liable to photograph them and put them on the net for everyone to see. Check out this shot of a stealth bomber sitting on a tarmac at Plant 42 in Palmdale, California captured totally by accident. The Soviet Union would have loved Google Maps in the 80's.

I've seen people do Flamming Dr. Peppers but never felt the need to do one myself and this video illustrates why. Some dude starts downing a Flaming Dr. Pepper but when some spills on his face...well, it catches on fire, he freaks and then starts blowing fire all over the place.

Another interesting note for all you techies out there...the video above is actually a gif file which I've never see done with a vid file before. It's about 2 megs in size so it'll take forever for you dial-up peeps to see and depending on how much bandwidth it eats up, I may take it down after a few days...we'll see.

This story was on the news a few weeks ago and caused just enough outrage to get Jessica Jackson involved which is never a good thing. Long story short, some guy led cops on a police chased thru Compton and at the end of the chase, 13 cops fired 120 rounds at this guy and only hit him 4 times, and he lived! Naturally the black community got all up in arms saying it was racist even though there were black and Hispanic cops there in addition to the white cops...but to me the real story was how the hell do 13 "trained" police officers fire 120 rounds and miss 116 times?

Just look at the photo above...the red circles are cops, the yellow circle is the guy they are shooting at remember there are 10 other cops not in the frame of this shot shooting as well. Look how close the one cop is to him! At that distant he could throw the gun at him and hurt him.

The guy wasn't high on PCP or wasn't wearing protecting gear...he was just some stupid dude that refused to pull over and gestured like he had a gun.

I'm a big fan of law enforcement but I gotta say these cops suck! I'm no marksman but I have enough experience with a gun to know at that range I could have put every bullet in my gun in the guy without missing and right or wrong, he wouldn't have lived. If I ever have to have a shoot out with the cops, I hope it's these cops.

America would be a much better place if we had more cops like this. He pulls over a woman for speeding, having a broken windshield, a tail-light out and not wearing a seatbelt and believe it or not, she gives him attitude. He keeps his cool, calls for back-up and she continues to give attitude and then refuses to get out of her vehicle once they discover her license is suspended. He breaks out the tazer and gives her several more chances and warnings but when she still refuses to exit the vehicle, this dude does not hesitate and zaps her ass good. The funny thing is that she is on her cell phone telling someone on the other end everything that is going on right up until she get's zapped. I bet she'll obey the cops next time she's pulled over.

If you've already seen the "last" Star Wars movie and wondering what's next?...this may be it. This is a 48 minute fan film made by a couple in Virginia at a cost of $200,000 and it's the buzz of the internet right now. I downloaded it this weekend and haven't had time to watch the whole thing yet but to be a fan film, it looks pretty good complete with light sabers, storm troopers and even the man himself...Darth Vader.

The movie is about 240mb so download time is considerable for all you dial-up peeps but worth the wait if you're a die-hard Star Wars fan. Right click on the link below and choose Save target as... and then save it to wherever you want it on your pc. Enjoy!
